A week of backyard findings it seems...Proteaceae again

Did you know there are 72 varieties of Proteaceae... I could go on for weeks at this rate. Better start posing more exciting things I guess.. They are beautiful for the simple fact that they stand out from the green that surrounds. Does bring to mind the age old question... what is beauty?  
I shall start a list today of what I think is beautiful. To be posted soon...
